Perth Metro East - Eastern Phantoms 

Perth Metro East is the Charter formed by the Morley, Perth and Wembley Baseball Clubs in Western Australia; established in 2008 and known as the Eastern Phantoms.

The Charter program provides a platform for talented young players to showcase their abilities, compete against their peers and continue to develop in the sport.  We serve as a steppingstone for players who aspire to play at higher levels of baseball as they progress through their athletic careers.  Players are expected to demonstrate a higher level of commitment to their team which involves attending regular practices, showing dedication to improving their skills and maintaining good sportsmanship on and off the field.

The Charter is open to players from the ages of 9 to 16 and follows the Little League International model designed to extend player skills at a higher level to club ball and exposes athletes to international programs. Our program has a long history of success:

• 6-time Little League State Champions (2008, 2009, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2023)

• 2-time Intermediate League State Champions (2020*, 2021) *Denotes buddy charter

• Junior League State Champions (2022)

• 4-time Senior League State Champions (2016, 2018*, 2019*, 2023) *Denotes buddy charter                                                                                                               

• National Junior League Champions 2022 – Participation at the Junior League World Series, USA

Our dedicated committee members strive to offer the best available coaching to our future stars. Our coaching ranks include former Eastern Phantoms, past Collegiate players, current State League players, past and current Perth Heat Players, former Professional Minor League players and current State Junior Coaches. These coaches have a deep understanding of the game and possess the necessary coaching skills to guide young athletes.  They are responsible for teaching the fundamentals, providing tactical guidance and fostering a positive and supportive team environment.

Off the field our strength is in our relationships – fierce competition can be found between players of the Morley, Perth and Wembley baseball clubs at all levels – but a common respect and unity is evident once we become Phantoms. Once a Phantom, always a Phantom.  #GoPhantoms #PhantomNation
